• At least two years of experience working as a patent/trademark paralegal in a law/consultancy firm.
• Strong Experience with IP filing and prosecution with Patent and/or Trademark Offices
• Strong skills in teamwork, both with internal and external stakeholders, as well as quality control, file/docket management, and problem-solving.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, which will enable them to establish positive and productive relationships with colleagues and external partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective communication with other legal and business professionals.
• Exceptional attention to detail and judgment, ensuring high-quality standards and error detection.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and related software programs, which are crucial for performing day-to-day tasks in the role.

1. Record Management – Maintain accurate records of all collected and analyzed data, and organize files for easy access.
2. Paralegal Services – Provide administrative support to attorneys, such as drafting legal documents and managing case files.
3. Database Management using MS Excel – Develop and maintain databases using Microsoft Excel, including data entry, filtering, and organization.
4. Invoice Creation – Generate invoices for services provided to customers, including calculating costs, applying discounts or taxes, and formatting invoices.
5. Billing Support – Assist with billing-related tasks, such as verifying invoice accuracy and maintaining billing records.
6. Global Client Communication – Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries or issues, providing helpful and informative responses to resolve concerns.
7. Patent Research Support – Conduct patent research, compile relevant information, and create reports for internal use.
8. International Business Development – Drive business expansion worldwide by identifying potential clients and partners.
9. Leads Generation from Email Marketing – Create and manage email marketing campaigns to generate leads, track responses, and manage contact lists.
10. Lead Generation from IP databases – Use the IP databases to identify potential leads by researching companies and analyzing patent data.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development (BD)/Sales Professional with a minimum 2 years of business development experience with an IP law firm and a strong inclination towards lead generation.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with potential corporates and other firms to present comprehensive IP/Legal Services offered by the firm through various channels including cold-calling, strategic emails, and leveraging professional networks such as LinkedIn.
- Develop a deep understanding of Intellectual Property (IP) and Legal Services provided by the firm and tailor pitches accordingly. It’s imperative to proactively engage in activities such as writing blogs, conducting webinars, delivering presentations, and evolving into a proficient BD professional.
- Work independently on focused mandates with clearly defined expectations, reporting directly to a firm partner. The ideal candidate should demonstrate maturity, self-motivation, focus on BD objectives, and maintain a professional demeanor with a humble attitude.
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in business development, brand building, digital marketing, executing email campaigns, and comfortably meeting targets.
Must have:
- Minimum 2 years of business development experience with an IP law firm, preferably tier-1 IP law firm of India.
- Proven track record in business development and lead generation.
