Archana Luktuke is an experienced Lawyer and Solicitor based in Perth, Western Australia
Archana has a strong background in commercial law and dispute resolution. She began her legal career in Mumbai in 1998 with a leading commercial litigation firm, before relocating to Australia, where she worked with a prominent Perth law firm gaining extensive experience in commercial and business matters. In 2018, she established her own successful legal practice, AUL Law, in Perth. Over the years, she has built a solid reputation for her practical, commercially focused approach and her deep understanding of business operations.
Archana’s commercial and business law practice covers a wide spectrum of work. For the purposes of her engagement as an external consultant to LexGeneris, she provides support in the following areas:
- Intellectual property agreements — including but not limited to drafting and reviewing licensing, assignment, confidentiality (NDA), collaboration, joint-development, franchising, and technology-transfer agreements.
- Commercialisation and IP strategy support — including but not limited to protection of trade secrets and the preparation of commercial arrangements relating to the monetisation of intellectual property.
- Business sale and purchase arrangements — including but not limited to comprehensive transaction documentation, due-diligence support, and agreements relating to the transfer of business assets such as intellectual property, warranties, indemnities, and vendor–purchaser obligations.
- Restructuring, succession, and business reorganisation — including but not limited to drafting agreements relating to ownership allocation, transfer, or reallocation of IP assets between entities or stakeholders (with any formal IP office filings handled by LexGeneris’ IP attorneys), as well as broader structural and governance documentation.
- Commercial litigation and dispute resolution — including but not limited to disputes involving contracts, commercial transactions, trademarks, copyrights, confidential information, restraints, and other IP-adjacent commercial issues.
- Trusts and business structuring — including but not limited to the establishment of IP-holding structures, asset-protection strategies, trust documentation, and commercial arrangements involving IP assets held through trusts or special-purpose entities.
In addition to her wider commercial practice, Archana regularly assists businesses with their IP-related requirements, including NDAs, licensing arrangements, commercial contracts involving IP, and strategic guidance for protecting and enforcing intellectual property rights.
Her practice strengthens the support LexGeneris offers by providing clients with access to independent commercial legal advice that aligns with their broader IP strategy. LexGeneris provides IP strategy and coordination, while all legal advice is delivered solely by Archana in her independent Of-Counsel capacity.
Archana is also a facilitator with the Executive Education team at Edith Cowan University (ECU) School of Business and Law, where she delivers workshops to corporate professionals, business leaders, and management teams.
